Ruth E. Bolz, age 94, of Chilton, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021, at Century Ridge Assisted Living in Chilton. She was born in Chilton on November 26, 1926, daughter of the late Irma (Brunmeier) and Michael Bolz.
After attending Milwaukee State Teacher College, she graduated from Milwaukee Prospect Hall Business College, and was employed in Milwaukee for 15 years. She returned to Chilton to work for her father at Bolz Buick. After his retirement, Ruth was employed at Tecumseh Products for 25 years as a buyer, retiring at age 57 to lovingly care for her parents until their death. Her love of nature was evident by the many environmental organizations she supported, especially Friends of Ledgeview Nature Center. Her bird feeders were never empty, and she had many bird houses, and even a heated bird bath in the winter.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Dolores Kuster.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Irma, and a brother-in-law, Ernie Kuster.
