"In Memory of
Mrs. Dolly Jaquith
wife of Capt. James Jaquith
who died Octr. 30, 1808
AEt. 59

Cruel death hath conquer'd me.
I with his dart am slain
But Christ hath conquer'd death
And I shall rise again.

From death the gloomy terrours flee
when once 'tis understood
'Tis natures call 'tis Gods decree
And is and must be good."
