Angelita (Angie) Burdette, 73, of Colton, California, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 with her dear husband Herb by her side after a 3 year struggle with cancer. Angie was born on May 23, 1947 in Madera, California to Jesse and Stella (Hernandez) Medellin. The family moved to Southern California in 1950 and most of Angie's childhood years were spent in La Puente, California. Angie was a woman of style with no equal. She was forever young at heart and was the brightest light in the room. She worked in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender for many years. Angie was well suited for this profession and she had many loyal customers who loved her because of her sincerity and intuitive abilities. Her heart for others was one of her special gifts, and she shared it freely. She loved collecting and selling antiques. Angie was a lifelong Dodger fan and was able to watch her team win the 2020 World Series. Angie is survived by her husband, Herb Burdette, daughters Rhonda (Tony) Keliipio, Lisa Lindstrom, and stepdaughter Nicole (Matthew) McDonald, grandchildren Christian, Erika, Emily, and great-grandchildren Aven and Elora. She is also survived by her brother Jesse (Lynette) Medellin and sister Cathy (Mel) Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Her loss will be felt deeply by her family and friends. A funeral mass will be held January 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. located at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1106 N. La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA. Interment to follow on January 14 at 11:30 a.m. located at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
