He was a former employee for Alameda’s Plumbing & retired as a Plumber/Pipefitter for UA Local 675 with 50+ years of service. He attended Waiakea Kai & Intermediate School & graduated from Hilo High School in 1954. Member of the 1953 Hilo High School Territorial of Hawaii Basketball Championship team. He was also a member of HI Island Senior Basketball Circuit and played for Waiakea Pirates & Keaukaha teams, respectively. He was also a member of Keaukaha Community Association & Malia Puka O Kalani Church.
A drive-thru visitation only will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday (Jan. 15, 2021) at Dodo Mortuary Upper Carport, Hilo; burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 7 at 1:15 p.m. Masks and social distancing required. Casual attire.
