Cecile Ricker, 84, formerly of Galesburg, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Knox County Nursing Home.
Born July 20, 1914, in Dahinda to Clive Edward and Ethel Fern Smith Brooks, she married Hubert J. Ricker on June 15, 1968, in Galesburg. He died April 23, 1987. One son, Earl Cadwell, one sister and one brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Loudean) Scott, and one son, Donald Cadwell, both of Knoxville; and two sisters, Irene Renwick of Knoxville and Bernice Moore of Galesburg.
She worked in the laundry department at the former Galesburg Mental Health Research Hospital, retiring in 1975.
Graveside services will be at Knoxville Cemetery.
