Chillicothe, IL - Vivian B. Meinders, 71, of 427 Wilmot died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Born July 24, 1921, in Dahinda to Cleve Edward and Ethel Fern Smith Brooks, she married George J. Meinders on Nov. 1, 1939, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died July 14, 1986.
She also was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Jerroll W. of Washburn and Gene E. of Peoria; four daughters, Beverly J. Todd of East Peoria, Joyce F. Shirley of Peoria, Janice I. Hosbrough of Chillicothe and Shirley A. Haggard of Pekin; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Irene Renwick and Cecil Rickert, both of Knoxville, and Bernice Moore of Galesburg.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
