Godwin, Benjamin "DUANE" 10/4/1932 - 4/13/2016 Born Saginaw Michigan 10-4-1932 Passed away 4-13-2016 in Surprise AZ Due to his heart condition. Son of Benjamin S. and Blodwen Godwin. He grew up in Saginaw, attended high school there and married his high school sweetheart Helen. They had 3 children, Debra, Benny, Kathleen along with 4 grandchildren. Duane served in the Army during the Korean war. He owned several small businesses but followed in his fathers footsteps and for most his life worked in and owned barbershops. His clients loved him for the tales he told and the ear he lent to them while in his chair. He shared wonderful stories about how his mother and father brought "the Godwin Family" over from Wales during the depression. Many fond memories of growing up in Saginaw with his beloved Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was an honest, hardworking family man. He was kind, generous with an impish grin and a big heart. A special note to his beloved Aunt Pat you are a part of his heart.
