Following a paralytic stroke on April 2, from which she never rallied, Mrs. Jane Prevo, wife of Clarence Prevo, died at her home at 146 Cottage Drive on Wednesday of this week.
Mrs. Prevo was eighty-two years old, born in Clark County, Illinois on April 13, 1855. She had three sisters who are Mrs. Della Shaw, Mrs. Anna Shoemaker of Covina, and Mrs. Hattie Lindley of Los Angeles, formerly of Covina. A brother, Gus Malone, lives here, a resident of the valley for many years. Her husband died here in 1923.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock at the funeral parlors of Christiansen and Moore, with Rev. Harry Earle of the Methodist church officiating, and interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
