Columns 1 & 2, except top row 2nd one are all cremates from the Washington State Hospital. There are a lot of canisters behind these niches and there are no name plates.

Austan Bade was admitted under Bade, Gustav. I found this on the typed master patient index on file.

Western State Hospital ceased doing onsite burials and cremations in 1953. Canisters of cremated remain (WSH used a number system to keep track on –site) were transfer to Oakwood Cemetery around 1960.

Gustav Bade

Gustav Bade, 82, member of a pioneer Plymouth family, died Sunday at his home in Tacoma, Wash. A retired optician, Mr. Bade had resided in the State of Washington the greater part of his life, having left Plymouth when a young man.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Bade, the deceased had last visit Plymouth in 1945 and 1946.

Surviving are a brother, Edwin Bade and a sister, Louisa Fiedler, both of Plymouth, and a number of nieces and nephews in Sheboygan County. Mr. Bade never married.

Funeral services and burial will take place in Tacoma.
