Arch McCracken Dies Suddenly Dies At Age Of 81
Funeral services will be held Arch McCracken, 74, a brother of Samuel McCracken, president of Miners National Bank. He died yesterday In Hahnemann Hospital, Scranton, a few hours after he was stricken ill at his home. Mr. McCracken suffered a heart attack shortly after midnight, just after returning to his home, 1518 Olive street, Scranton, from a visit with friends. Born in Scranton, Mr. McCracken was a son of the late Mr, and Mrs. Leroy McCracken.
Surviving are daughter, Miss Jane McCracken, employed at the First National Bank of Scranton; two sisters, Mrs. Sunday, Scranton, and Mrs. Alvin Armstrong, Chicago, Ill., and brother, Samuel McCracken. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 in Robert B. Phillips Funeral Home, 146 South Main avenue, Scranton.
Burial will be in Abington Hills cemetery.
