Genevieve was born April 18, 1927 in Oshkosh a daughter of Elmer and Mildred DeLap. She worked as a cook for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She was a past member of First English Lutheran Church.
Genevieve is survived by a son, Stephen (Jackie) Nelson of Oshkosh, one brother, Richard (Elaine) DeLap of Oshkosh, and two sisters, Issic (Jack) Baldwin of Black Wolf, and Tulle (Frank) Parks of Granger, IN; she is further survived by five grandchildren, Stephen, Heidi, Monika, Tiffany, and Nicholas Nelson all of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie, two sisters, Helen DeLap, Mary Ann Fuller, one brother, Elden DeLap, and two grandchildren, Crystal and Daisy.
A memorial service for Genevieve will be held Thursday November 4, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
