PICKENS - Essie Simpson Gilstrap, 91, of Route 4, Easley-Pickens Highway, died Dec. 8, 1990, after three months of declining health.
She was a member of Eljean Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Edna Trotter of Pickens; a son, Fred Gilstrap of Cateechee; and a sister, Cannie Ferguson of Greenville.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home, Easley, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Edna Trotter, 307 Old Liberty-Pickens Road, Pickens.
