Waynesboro, March 24 – Mrs. Alice Carter, eighty-three, died at her home in Greenfield, Nelson County, this morning at four o'clock.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Truslow, and Mrs. Bloomer Carter, Greenfield, and Mrs. Annie (Belle) Goode of Pittsburgh; four sons, E. L., H. E., and T. W.. Greenfield; and H. A. Carter of Charlottesville.
The body will remain at Etter Funeral home and may be viewed at the Rockfish Presbyterian Church Thursday morning from ten-thirty until eleven. Funeral services will be held from this same church at eleven Thursday morning, conducted by the Rev. James Ammons. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
