GREENFIELD – Mrs Minnie Pearl Truslow, 73, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William A. (Dollie) Mohler, at 12:05 a.m. yesterday (December 2, 1963). Mrs. Truslow was born in Nelson County on Sept. 26, 1890 and she was the widow of Everette B. Truslow, who died on July 3, 1955.
Survivors include five sons, Dennette Truslow of Baltimore, Cloudy N. Truslow of Richmond, John Truslow, Hampton Truslow and Jesse Truslow, all of Afton; six daughters, Mrs. Lola Bryant of Faber, Mrs. Mary Scott, Mrs. Dolly Mohler, Mrs. Pearl Ferguson and Miss Barbara Truslow, all of Afton and Mrs. Lucille Bragg of Waynesboro. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Annie Good of Pittsburgh and Miss Blum Carter of Afton; four brothers, Samuel Carter, Howard Carter and Edward L. Carter, all of Afton and Henry Carter of Fredericksburg; 39 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Etter Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert L. Woodson. Interment will be in the Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Greenfield.
Active pallbearers will be Daniel B. Mohler, Charles H. Ferguson, Harold D. Bragg, E. McCoy Bragg, Gordon S. Truslow and William G. Truslow. Flowerbearers will be the Misses Marie Critzer, Violet Scott, Shirley Scott, Jerry Wood, Minnie Rutledge, Earleen Allen, Doris Hughes, Virginia Truslow, Pauline Madison, Maxine Ferguson and Linda Ferguson.
Note: Minnie was the daughter of Thomas Henry Carter and Virginia Alice Wallace Carter.
