I have seen Stote, Stephen, Stratton, Stough, as possible names for Mr. Barber. I am inclined to believe that is name may be Stoughton P. Barber, buried in Lennoxville. He is of the same age as the census record for "Stote."
Also in contention is Joseph Gorman. Ida insisted throughout her life that her father's name was Gorman and there is a possibility that the Joseph Gorman buried in the Dixon cemetery in Bardwell could be her father. His age, locality, and availability put him in the running.
There also is one other daughter I am researching. Elizabeth Mills (1858-) married Stephen A. Cisco(1858-1936), had a daughter Blanch Mills Cisco (1885-1957), who in turn married Robert B. Smith. Elizabeth would assumed to be the daughter of Robert Mills.
