James Richard Istvan, 72 of Waldorf, MD died on October 16, 2007 at his residence.
Born on June 14, 1935 in La Plata, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mamie Buckler Istvan. Mr. Istvan was the Barber in Hughesville and later retired as a Warehouse worker for Sunbeam Bread. He also enjoyed crabbing, family gatherings especially during the holidays.
Survived by wife, Cleo Helen Randas Istvan, children, James J., Michael A., David R., Paul M. Istvan, Judith A. Windsor, and Francis B. Istvan, sisters, Cecilia Barker and Doris Hintze, and brother, Paul Istvan, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by extensive family through his son?s marriage.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryantown, MD with Father Joseph Kleinstuber officiating. Interment to follow at church cemetery.
