She lived the vast majority of her life in Stratford, Connecticut graduating from Stratford High School in 1975. Beverly was a trailblazer working at American Frozen Foods for 19 years and most recently at Sikorsky Aircraft for 16 years in Bridgeport as a Kit Assembler and Forklift Operator.
Although a very private person, Beverly was known to fiercely love her family, friends and her pets. She had a wonderful sense of humor, infectious laughter, and enjoyed cooking her favorite dishes or finding unique gifts often sharing with her colleagues and friends. It is difficult to find current photos of Bev as she was usually the person behind the camera, photographing and chronicling special events and occasions for others as the historian of unforgettable memories. Beverly’s other passions were shopping and going to the movies.
Beverly is predeceased by her grandmother, A. Marie Long; her parents, Barbara Jean Blake and Curly Symes; a sister, Theresa Blake and one brother Darrell Felton.
Beverly is survived by her two heartbeats, her son Prashant Haley, his fiancé Evelyn of East Hampton, CT and her daughter, Rajvi Jarvis of Stratford, CT; her brother Derrick Felton, her cousin and rock Bernadine Edwards and her husband, Carl of Stratford, CT, two adored grandchildren, Prashant Jr. and Sofia; very special cousins Danita Edwards-Sadler, Carl Edwards Jr. (Hoogey), and Camille Edwards; numerous other family members, godchildren, and dear friends.
