Mrs. Bond dies at Kilmichael; rites held March 22
Funeral services for Mrs. Angeline Garner Bond were held Friday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home chapel.
Officiating were Revs. J. W. Noland and John A. Wade. Burial was in the Pine Bluff cemetery, with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Bond, who was 85 years old, died March 20 at Kilmichael Hospital. She was a native of Montgomery County and a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church.
Survivors are four sons, George and Pleas Bond, Kilmichael; Willie Bond, Hamburg, Arkansas, and Floyd W. Bond, Greenwood; four daughters, Mrs. Georgia Moorehead, French Camp; Mrs. James N. Lott, Decatur, Alabama; and Mrs. H. T McAlister and Mrs. Ewell Magee of Jackson; three brothers, G. L. Garner, Winona; Elbert Garner, Grenada: and William Garner, Coldwater; a sister, Mrs. Joe Carr, Jackson; 34 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Bond, Jerry Bond, J. J. Bond, Bobby Bond, Randy Moorehead, and James Moorehead.
