Willie Jay Ballinger, age 75, of Denning, Arkansas passed on to be with Our Lord, Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born July 23, 1945 to Jimmy Lee and Edith Florene Garner Ballinger. He was veteran of the United States Army. He was a proud supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks, loved to hunt anything he got a chance to, loved to help anyone he came across, he would play Yahtzee or cards anytime of the day or night with whoever was up for a challenge. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Homer, Marion, Jackie, Earl and Tommy Ballinger; and his sisters, Mary, Joyce and Billie, his twin.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Barnhart Ballinger of Denning; four sons, Chris Scott of Denning, John Ballinger of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Andrew Ballinger of Ozark, Arkansas and Lester Ballinger of Denning; one daughter, Wendy Blackwood of Conway, Arkansas; four sisters, Betty Barnes, Tommie Liska, Pam Cox and Pansy Nail; and three grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
