She was born January 10, 1943 in Ranger, AR. to the late Jimmie Lee & Edith Florene Garner Ballinger. She was a member of Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Upper Spring Creek E.H. Club and a avid supporter of Leon Millsap Senior Activity Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jackie & Tommy Ballinger.
Survivors include husband, Allan Theman; sons &daughter-in-law, Jody Ward of Danville; Brian & Rachel Ward of Havana; grandchildren, Brice Ward (U.S. Marines San Diego, CA); Ashlyn Ward both of Dardanelle; Nathan and Caleb Ward of Havana; Addison Ward of Fayetteville; brothers &sisters-in-law Homer Ballinger of Omega Community; Marion & Jean Ballinger of Salem, OR; Willie Jay & Linda Ballinger of Blackwell; Earl Ballinger of Dallas; sisters Betty Barnes of Ola; Billie Nash of Dardanelle; Joyce Smith of Plainview; Tommy Liska of Centerville; Pamela & Ray Cox of Hot Springs; Pansy & James Nail of Ola; Aunt Jewel Hancock of Slo Fork; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Burial at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
