In the 1892 New York census, Clinton is listed with his wife Nettie Chillson (29) and his Mother Betsey (65). They are living next door to Moores and Hunsdons (Nettie's maiden name.)
In the 1900 census, Clinton and Nettie had been married for 19 years. The census report states that their marriage year was 1881. Living in the home with them was Betsey Chillson (75) and William Call (25) a servant.
By 1910, Clinton and Nettie are living in Chester, Windsor County, Vermont. William Call(35) was still with them.
In 1920, Clinton (60) and Nettie (56) were still living in Chester. Boarding with them were Miner Newton (70) and Soloman Barnes (40).
In 1930, Clinton (70) had moved back to Ticonderoga.
In the June 7, 1945 issue of the Ticonderoga Sentinel the following article appeared in the Chilson news: "Word has been received of the death of Clinton Chillson, who was one of, if not our oldest resident. Funeral will be held at the church Thursday at 2 pm."
