He was born February 14, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana to Claude Adams and Eva Adams .
Larry graduated from Muncie Central High School.
He retired as an Electrician working for General Motors and Amtrak.
Larry enjoyed bowling, spending time with his family and friends. Larry loved to Put- Putt and travel. Larry was well known for his street ministry.
He is survived by his wife Betty Adams of Anderson; two sons, Daniel Adams of Oregon, Timothy Adams of Florida; step-children, Teresa (Russ) Elliott of Anderson, Millard (Christy) Cook of Indianapolis, Willy (Donna) Cook of Indianapolis, Larry (Melanie) Cook of Kentucky, and Rhonda Cook of Indianapolis; brother Bill (Tonette) Adams of Alabama; sister, Sharon Applegate of Muncie; grandchildren, Heather Adams, Timothy Adams Jr., Danielle Michael, Christopher Adams, and Cassidy Barr; several step-grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Janet Adams; and his daughter Catherine Adams.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Phillip Meade officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
