Helen Ward Huffman, 77, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Hilda Heaton Ward. In earlier years Helen, was a truck driver. In more recent years she was a Health Care Provider. She loved to make people laugh and play jokes on them. She was a member of Borderview Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Michael Douglas Montgomery.

Survivors include her son: William Thomas “Billy Montgomery & wife Angie, Johnson City. A Step-son: Keith Wayne Huffman & wife Sherry. Three Grandchildren: Timbra ( Eric) Wright, Ashley Huffman & husband: Kayode Awowoyin and Cody Howell (Cassie) Huffman. Four Great Grandchildren: C.J., Charlie, Cleo & Mac. Two Sisters: Martha “Teen” Ward Walsh and Mildred Ward Winters. Several nieces.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lyons officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 09, 2021, in Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section). Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
