Susan Harrington Orton was the second, and considerably younger, wife of Abiram Orton. She was the daughter of Jabez Harrington and Lydia Skiff and probably married Abiram Orton about 1833 in Chautauqua County. She was widowed when only in her late 20's, but did not remarry, and left no descendants. As a widow, she had some family sharing her household.
