2) A Revolutionary War veteran; he fought in the Battle of Bennington with his 6 sons and was a Lt. in Capt. Robinson's Co. He was one of the 3 Bennington men who signed the warrant for the convention for the purpose of declaring the independence of Vermont. ~ Husband of Deborah, married 11 Nov 1742 in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut.
