The daughter of John R. Myers and his wife, Candy, of Farmington, Pa., and Anita Sproul and her husband, Steven, of Uniontown, Pa., she was born January 3, 1972, in Uniontown, Pa.
She graduated from Uniontown High School, Class of 1989.
Leann was the proud owner of Red Line Auto in Spring Lake, North Carolina, which she and her husband, John, started in 2000.
Leann brought so much joy to everyone around her! She always had a smile, no matter rain or shine. She adored her pets, Cloie, Rocke, Logan, Ruger, Zeek and Little man Zena. She enjoyed life itself.
She loved going to the drag strip in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was ready to race her own car that she had spent many months getting ready. Her first race was to be held Friday, December 1, 2006. She will be greatly missed by all at the track.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Burnworth, whom she married in October of 1989 and who passed away May 9, 2005. They were high school sweethearts and spent every minute of every day together.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Courtney Nicole Burnworth, who was her best friend, her everything; one sister, Melanie J. Leasure and her husband, Justin, of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, Dillon C. Myers of Farmington, Pa.; paternal grandmother, Lillian Myers of Markleysburg, Pa.; and maternal grandmother, Juanita Wood of Roseville, Michigan.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, November 25, from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service.
