Marcelline Exline
Marcelline (Babe) Exline, 80, of Rt. 2, Elizabeth, died Dec. 25, 2004, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born at Reedy, Roane County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ira and Elsie Harris Brown.
Mrs. Exline was a member of the Newark Baptist Church and graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1942. She had been employed by the post office in both Elizabeth and Washington, W.Va., and had been a secretary for the Parkersburg Beauty College and Peoples Life Insurance Co.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Exline; and four brothers and their wives, Valjean and Nilus Brown of Clearwater, Fla., David and Hazel Brown of Belpre, Robert and Nancy Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jimmie and Jean Brown of Davisville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Busch-Kimes Funeral Home of Elizabeth with the Revs. Bill Thomas and Greg Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
