Roy Gorrell, 67, of Bogota, died Wednesday in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be in the Pulliam Funeral Home, Newton. Burial will be in Honey Cemetery.
Mr. Gorrell was born in Bogota, son of John and Ada Heady Gorrell.
He married Lucille Tate in July, 1929.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Dean and Glen, both of Newton; daughter, Karen of Hopedale; sisters, Blanche Swisher and Mabel Zimmerman, both of Newton; 15 grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
