Sharon Greene Williams, 74, of Vancleave MS, passed from life on Earth to eternal life in Heaven with Jesus on March 19th, 2021. Sharon was born in Lucedale, MS on November 3rd, 1946. She graduated from Vancleave High School in 1964. Sharon worked as an accountant for numerous companies over her life until her retirement in 2017. Sharon enjoyed being a loving mother, grandmother, sister as well as being a homemaker. Sharon was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE 2501 ladies auxiliary and held several offices locally, regionally, and state-wide.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Joe Spire Greene Jr. and Hazel Welford Conner, her husband of 30 years Robert E. Williams, and one brother Joe Greene.
Sharon is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Walter "Boots" Greene (Peggy), James "Butch" Conner(Joy), Ronny Greene, Selesa Tillery(Tony), Shirilana Greene (Gerard); two sons and 1 daughter: Scott M. Rico (Nina), Robert Williams Jr., Pamela Williams Kissel (Matthew); eight grandchildren: Desire' M. Rico, Esther Ya'el Rico, Kevin Kissel, Lauren Kissel, Brian Williams (Samantha), Rachel Williams Wilson (David), Wayne Williams, Samuel Williams; six great-grandchildren: Madison Williams, Kristina Wilson, Ann'Marie Wilson, Erin Wilson, Wayne Williams, Jr., Weston Williams, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Crestlawn Cemetery at time of interment (TBA). Brother Jonathan of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast will be officiating. A family and friends gathering will be held at the home of Sharon Williams after internment (TBA).
