One year ago, on March 21, 2020, Beverly N. Doyer left her earthly home in Henrico County to enter a heavenly one. She was 87 years old, and until her 2018 move to be closer to family, was a lifelong resident of Hampton. She was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Bessie Nicholson, her sister Betty, her son David, and her husbands, James W. Ferguson, the father of her children, and Marshall L. Doyer. She is survived by her children, Susan, Bill, and Curtis; her brothers Chris and Nick, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Hampton Baptist Church and a proud member of the Hampton High School Class of 1952.
Because of Covid restrictions, a private graveside service took place at Parklawn Cemetery, Hampton.
