Saturday, March 20, 2021 Joan Crouch Graves, beloved wife and mother, passed away in Lubbock, Texas. Joan was born 7-11-41 in Las Animas, Colorado.

Joan led a full life of traveling as she followed her husband, Hugh, for his work. She spent years living in her favorite countries of Singapore and Argentina and loved those experiences. They raised two daughters, Jodele and Jolene, during their time abroad. After returning to the United States and upon retirement, Joan and Hugh spent much of their time traveling and being camp hosts at many New Mexico State Parks, something they both truly enjoyed.

Joan was known for her blunt humor, her compassion, her love of history and heritage and her deep love of family. Genealogy was her heart's passion. She loved tramping old cemeteries, finding lost ancestors and visiting with new found distant cousins.

Joan is survived by her husband Hugh Leonard (married 3 July , 1964) her sister Betty Coslett (Robert), her two daughters Jolene (Chuck) and Jodele, seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
