Marcia M. Alexander, 59, a life long Rushville resident, passed away March 26, 2021 in Indianapolis.
She was born June 6, 1961 in Rushville to Anthony R. & Joan (Rosfeld) Meo, both surviving.
Marcia was a 1979 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. She married Gary A. Alexander on December 29, 1990 and he survives.
Marcia was working as a material handler for Emerson Climate Technologies for over 40 years. She was a life long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rushville and volunteered at the church food pantry.
Marcia enjoyed card club, loved sunsets, flamingos, her flowers, photography and traveling! She was a friend to so many and a truly genuine person! She will be missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents; Anthony & Joan Meo of Rushville and her husband, Gary A., of Rush County, she is survived by her daughters; Rachel Alexander of Rushville and Carrie Alexander of Australia, a granddaughter; Jocelyn June Alexander-Morris, her sisters; Angie (Dick) Workman of Rushville, Stacie Kirkham of Rushville, Sonya (Rick) Zoller of FL and Diana (Bill) Tobin of Greencastle and her brothers; Mike Meo of NC, Joe (Amy) Meo of Rushville, Guy (Bobbi) Meo of Rushville, Roxie (Staci) Meo of Greenwood and Vincent (Rya) Meo of Rushville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral mass and entombment will be private and Father James Brockmeier will preside over services.
A public gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, April 3. 2021 from 2-6 PM at the Rushville Elk's Lodge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Community Foundation-Rush County Cancer Fund or the Courtney Huskins Scholarship Fund.
