Lawrence Peltz, 61, a native of Glidden, Wis., died Friday afternoon at work at the Ford Lumber Company in Lebanon. He drowned in a mill pond.
Mr. Peltz lived in Pine Bluff from 1925-1927. He came to Oregon from Pine Bluff. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife the former Rosie Lee Fairchild, a resident of Pine Bluff before her marriage to Mr. Peltz; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Davis of Lebanon and Carmel Lee Peltz of Lebanon and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in Portland, Ore. Burial will be in a Oregon cemetery. Complete arrangements will be announced at the Peltz home, Box 104, Lebanon.
