Notes:
Dora was the daughter of Jesse Bowser and Adeline Donahe.
Dora married Francis "Frank" Marion Benscoter on November 7, 1894, in Mahaska County, Iowa.
When the couple lived in Des Moines, in 1910, they had a son, whose name was transcribed as Arvel, but is actually Orville. Orville Edwin Benscoter was born October 6, 1905, in Des Moines. Orville is currently linked to his father, and to his father's second wife, Bertha Simmons. Orville's ID is 78426472. Orville was listed as a step-son to Bertha in the 1930 census. Francis, Dora's husband, married Bertha Simmons on February 3, 1919, in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.
Dora's death certificate was informed by Wiliiam Lewis Bowser, who was her brother. He was most often known as Lewis or Louis, and his memorial gives his name as Louis Bowser, FG ID # 39675677.
Dora informed her mother's death certificate.
Even though Dora's death notice noted her title as Miss, she was married at the time of her death.
