Actor. He was best known to television viewers as Cousin Itt on the 1960s sitcom "The Addams Family." He first came to the United States from Italy in 1955. For about seven years, he toured with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as a trapeze artist, tumbler, and riding bareback. In 1962, he went to Hollywood to work as a stuntman. A year later, he made his television debut on the series "Grindl." Besides "The Addams Family," he would go on to appear in such series as "Bonanza," "The Monkees," "H.R. Pufnstuf," "Lidsville," "Battlestar Galactica," "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century," and "Married...with Children." In 1967, he made his film debut in "She Freak." He went on to appear in such films as "Planet of the Apes," (1968) "The Black Bird," (1975) "Under the Rainbow," (1981) "The Sting II," (1983) "Spaceballs," (1987) and "Batman Returns." (1992) He passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
