Vivian (Gervais) Pimental, 95, of Fairhaven passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Alden Court in Fairhaven. She was the wife of the late Frank Pimental.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Antonio and Eva (Belanger) Gervais, she grew up in Acushnet and settled in Fairhaven in 1948 where she was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Vivian was a winder at the Acushnet Company for many years and was active with the Whaler's Drum and Bugle Corp.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Pimental and his wife Linda of Acushnet; a grandson, Ronald Pimental, Jr. and his wife Carolyn Besse Pimental; two great grandchildren, Tiffany and Dominic; a great, great, grandson, Benjamin Trahan and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10am in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
