Rock Musician. He was the lead vocalist for the 1970s Scottish Pop-Rock ensemble Bay City Rollers. Born Leslie Richard McKeown, he joined the Bay City Rollers in 1973 and during the height of their popularity with the ArIsta label, they scored Top 10 hits with "Saturday Night" (1975, number one hit on the American Pop Charts and gold record status), "Money Honey" (1976) and "You Made Me Believe In Magic" (1977). He went on to a solo career in 1978 and recorded several albums during the 1980s.
