RANKIN DIES FROM INJURIES
Young Butte Man Passes Away in Cedar Rapids, Ia.-Interment in Anaconda.
Alexander Rankin, son of Mrs. Samuel Rankin and brother of Mrs. I.O. Blake of this city, died yesterday in Cedar Rapids, Ia., from injuries received Saturday when a car struck him while he was at work. Mrs. Rankin started east as soon as she received the news and will not be notified of the death of her son until she reaches Cedar Rapids. The body will be brought here and interment will be made in Anaconda.
Mr. Rankin would have been 24 years of age next Thursday. He resided in Butte and Anaconda for many years, leaving here two years ago for the east. He has since been traveling. He is survived by his parents and five sisters. It is unknow when the body will arrive in Butte.
