Dolores P. Kugler, age 88, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday morning, October 7, 2014 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Dolores was born on October 4, 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Julius and Lottie (Skrzypezynski) Kozaczuk. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1944. On October 2, 1948 she married Earl Kugler at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2006. Along with her husband Earl, they owned and operated Kugler's Bait and Tackle in Manitowoc for many years and she was also employed with the Holiday Inn and Santa's Best.
Survivors include three daughters: Barb Tryon, DePere, Cindy Haefke, Manitowoc, and Ann Marie Paprocki, Black Earth, WI; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Michelle Kugler and their daughters: Hannah and Lindsey, all of Wrightstown; three sisters: Florence Packowski, Manitowoc, Serina Lemberger, Arizona, Phyllis Armstrong, Manitowoc; and one brother-in-law: Edward Decker, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Cremation will occur at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Rene Balbero.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.
