Eleanore A. Franke, (nee Kozaczuk), entered the home of the Lord on
March 16, 2005 at the age of 79 years.
Eleanore was born Sept. 12, 1925 in Manitowoc, to Julius (Lottie)
Skrzypczynski. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc,
with the class of 1943. On Sept. 1, 1948, she married Russell
Franke.
Eleanore is survived by her beloved and patient husband, Russell;
loving mother of Karen (Peter) Hansen of La Crosse; and James
(Mary) Franke of Waukesha. She also leaves five grandchildren:
Matthew (Pamela) Hansen, La Crosse; Rebecca Franke, New Mexico;
Jacob Franke, Hales Corners; Amanda Franke, Oshkosh; and Emily
Franke, Milwaukee. Eleanore is further survived by one brother
and five sisters: Edward (Ruth) Kozaczuk, Tessie Trottier,
Florence Packowski, Delores (Earl) Kugler, Phyllis Armstrong, all
of Manitowoc; and Serina Lemberger of Mesa, Ariz. In addition she
leaves a special niece and nephew: Anne and Roger Reuther; brothers
and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Leo and
Charles Kozaczuk; and a sister: Elizabeth Decker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (TODAY), March 18,
2005 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9306 W. Beloit Road, West Allis,
at 2 p.m. Visitation will take place at the church from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
Interment will be on Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
