Berlin departed this life for his next great adventure on April 23. His is preceded in death by his father Berlin Adkins, Sr., mother Eva Regina Antonia Anna Maria Lietz, and his brothers Martin Andre, Stephan, and step brother Peter Brandonberg.

Berlin is survived by his husband Rod Tyrrell of Palestine, Texas, his brother Craig Adkins, sister-in-law Jen Adkins and his niece Brook Elisabeth Adkins of Phoenix, Arizona, his niece Rachel Adkins of Bountiful, Utah, and his niece Rachel Adkins of Newman Lake, Washington.

His youth was spent in Washington State, Oregon, and Wyoming, and he loved horses his whole life. As an adult he worked in the vacation industry with Club Med, he not only assisted patrons with vacation plans but also served as a tennis instructor and water ski performer as well as scuba diving coordinator. He later worked in the travel industry for Carlson Wagon-LIT Travel in Scottsdale, Arizona as a liaison travel planner for the Today Show and other venues. He finished his career working in the insurance industry for Cigna and Humana as a customer service/claims agent.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Roselawn Park Cemetery in Palestine at 10:00 AM on Wednesday the 28th. Arrangements have been made with Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Services to be conducted by representatives of The Church of Jesus of Later-Day-Saints.
