He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Harris; daughter, Teresa Loveless; granddaughter, Lindy Abbott; parents, Jasper and Lowie Harris; sisters: Beatrice Dehaven, Gertrude Garrison, Leona Gibson and Lola Salter; brothers, Wallace Harris, R.C. Harris, Henry Harris and Huel Harris.

His visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2023 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will be Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Ireland Cemetery.
