Mrs. Kahre is survived by the following: one son, Steve Kahre, and special friend Catherine, of Fayetteville, AR; one daughter-in-law, Therese Kahre of Monett, MO; two sisters-in-law, Pat Cahalan of Pierce City, MO and Doreen Cahalan of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Lisa Perriman (Dale) and Janet Burton of Joplin, MO; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Cahalan; her husband, William "Bill" Kahre, Jr; a son, Stan Kahre; a daughter-in-law, Kay Kahre; and three brothers, Lawrence, James "Bud" and Vince Cahalan; and a sister-in-law, Ginny Cahalan.
The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
Services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 beginning at 10:30 AM with Father Matt Rehrauer officiating. Burial will follow at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Pierce City, MO. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
Memorials may be made to St Mary's Catholic School in care of the funeral home.
