Albert A. Fialko Sr., 90, of Streator, died May 4, 1994 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator.

He was born March 21, 1904 in Streator, a son of Michael and Elizabeth (Rozak) Fialko. He and Mary M. Vasichko were married May 2, 1933 at St. Stephen's Church by the late Msgr. Louis Biskupski. She survives.

Also surviving are sons: Robert Fialko, Albert Fialko Jr. and Joseph Fialko, all of Streator, and John Fialko of Bellvue, CO; a daughter: Mary Ann IGreg) Melvin of Streator; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Anna Redd of Streator.

He was preceded in death by a son: Donald Fialko; two grandsons: Michael and Paul Fialko; brothers: John Fialko and a brother in infancy; and sisters: Helen Fialko, Mary Hritz, Agnes Liptak and Margaret Madara.

A Streator resident all of his life, he and his wife owned and operated Fialko's Grocery and Tavern in South Streator. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, St. Clement's Lodge and the Illinois Valley Baseball Hall of Fame.
