Marie was a daughter of Ninian Lewis Bay and Mollie Elizabeth Jones, the 8th of their 9 children. She married first, 23 May 1936, Hawley Woodrow Taylor, who died 15 Jul 1959. Marie married, second, Croel Cleburn "Bud" Harder, 10 June 1962. He also preceded her in death (d. 11 Feb 1980). She had no children, and was the last of her siblings to pass away.
Marie was very interested in the family history and, in 1968, compiled an unpublished notebook of the Bay family tree. She gathered information from her siblings and others; everything was typed up using a manual typewriter and ruled paper. Her notes were one of the springboards for my research on the Bay side of my family.
