Funeral Mass for Flora S. Montano, 92, of Grants, will be held on Nov. 10, 2007, at 10 a.m. at St. Vivian Catholic Church in Milan. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Nov. 9, 2007, from noon to 5 p.m. at Compassion Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Vivian Catholic Church.
Mrs. Montano was born on Oct. 25, 1915, in San Mateo, New Mexico, and passed away on Nov. 6, 2007, in Grants.
She is survived by her daughters: Dora Jaramillo and husband Serafin of Grants and Merlinda Salazar and husband Benny of Rio Rancho; sister: Fela Salazar of San Mateo; five grandchildren: Joe Lopez of Edgewood, New Mexico, Debbie Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Brian Lopez of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jeff Jaramillo of Grants, New Mexico, Brenda Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Flavio Montano; parents: Procopio and Lucia Sandoval; brothers: Manuel Sandoval, Procopio Sandoval, Aurelio Sandoval, Carlos Sandoval, Benjamin Sandoval, Roman Sandoval, Meliton Sandoval and Sifredo Sandoval; sisters: Paubla Sandoval and Lucy Salazar; grandson: Adrian Lopez; great-grandson: Flavio Lopez and son-in-law: Joe Lopez.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Jaramillo, Joe Lopez, Debra Lopez, Brenda Garcia, Bryan Lopez and Ivan Marquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Sandoval, Phillip Sandoval, Elvin Sandoval, Robert Montano and Eddie Trujillo.
