In Loving Memory...
Todd Powell DeShan, 57, of Garland, Texas lost his long and hard fought battle with cancer, leaving us to be with the Lord on April 28, 2021.
Todd was born on September 6th 1963, to Randall and Nancy DeShan in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida in 1982. As #56 on the Chamberlain football team, Todd received "Most Valuable Defensive Player" his senior year. He was a Defensive Captain and an invaluable leader of his team. Todd received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Communications from Texas State University in 1986 and began a 33 year career in Sales at Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits in 1987. Todd married his loving wife Kelli Lynn Hain on April 25, 2006, in Negril, Jamaica.
Todd was a wonderful and dedicated husband, son, brother and friend who brought a smile to everyone he met. He had a passion for singing and entertaining and was known to his friends and family as the "Karaoke King!" Todd regularly performed at senior living homes as part of the "Saturday Singers." Todd loved camping, fishing, cooking on the grill and he adored his dog, Haley. Todd was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and season ticket holder, who attended many games (and a couple of Super Bowls!) with family and Friends.
Todd is survived by his wife Kelli DeShan, Mother Nancy DeShan and Brothers Jay DeShan and Monte DeShan.
His suffering at the end, his spirit is now free. Todd will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
