Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Moller, 78, formerly of Oneida, died Thursday, June 9, 2021, in the Francis House, Syracuse, where she had been a patient for the past week. Born in Durhamville, on June 21, 1942, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Louise Dunn Moller. A lifelong resident of this area, until moving to Fayetteville in 2019, Jackie was a graduate of Oneida High School and Oswego State College. Jackie served with the Oneida City Schools for thirty-two years as a second grade teacher at Willard F. Prior Elementary School. She was a communicant of St Ann's Church in Manlius since moving to Fayetteville and was a long time parishioner of St. Mary's of the Lake, where she assisted the parish with bookkeeping, while residing in this area; was an active member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association, the Madison County Retired Teachers Association and the Oneida Retired Educators Association; and was very active as a committee member with the New York Teachers State Retirement Committee. For many years, Jackie was active with golfing leagues and was a former member of Kanon Valley Country Club. Surviving are her special friends, Jean Ottman and Jerry Meeker; her sister, Patricia Dunn of Oklahoma; her brother, Charles (Mary Alice) Moller of Marietta, Georgia; her brother-in-law, Thomas Wick of Rome; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol M. Wick, on August 15, 2019. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday from St. Joseph's Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend William Mesmer. Interment will be made in St. Francis Cemetery. Durhamville. Friends may call at the church 9 -11 AM, Saturday, prior to the Mass. Contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., Oneida.
