Meta Steckling, 92, Wesley Acres, Des Moines, Iowa, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Wesley Acres. She was the retired owner/operator of a grocery store and motel. Suvivors include a daughter, Marlene Dickey, Clive, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
