Ann (Russac/Karas) Carroccio, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Hartshorne, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at Baylor Medical Center in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne with the Rev. Park Cockrum officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Born May 1, 1920, in Adamson, she was the daughter of Joe and Anna (Plinto) Russac. She grew up there and graduated from Hartshorne High School. She and her first husband, Harry Karas, owned and operated a store in Adamson for several years until they turned it over to her brother, Matt Russac. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio for a few years before moving to Chicago, where she worked for Moore's Business Forms until her retirement. After her first marriage had ended, she married Sam Carroccio who preceded her in death on July 11, 2005. She had recently moved to Fort Worth to be with her son. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ron and Brenda Karas, Fort Worth, Texas, and Ted Karas, Carlsbad, N.M.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bob Spoczynski, Addison, Ill.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Matt Russac, of High Bridge, and Joe Russac, Yakima, Wash., and numerous nieces and nephews.
